Products Description

Silver Contact Stamped Welding Assemblies are made by using high-precision stamping and welding processes to firmly bond silver contact material to a metal substrate, forming an integral assembly with stable conductivity and reliable mechanical structure. In medium and low voltage electrical systems, stable current conduction, arc control during interruption, and contact reliability during long-term operation all place extremely high demands on contact materials. Silver (Ag) has become one of the most important materials in the field of electrical contacts due to its excellent electrical and thermal conductivity. Its resistivity is as low as 1.59 × 10⁻⁸ Ω·m, which can significantly reduce contact resistance and energy loss.
Material Properties and Advantages
Extremely low resistivity
Silver's resistivity is second only to copper, and its conductivity is more than 1.5 times that of copper. This means that under the same cross-section, silver contacts generate very little heat, effectively preventing contact failure due to overheating for Copper/Brass Stamping with Silver Contact Brazing.
Excellent thermal conductivity
Silver has extremely high thermal conductivity, enabling it to quickly dissipate localized heat to the surrounding metal substrate, maintaining overall temperature stability for Electrical Contact Brazed Stamping Components.
Excellent wear resistance
Silver exhibits excellent resistance to melting during arc cutting, forming a stable oxide film (in some alloys such as AgSnO₂) to prevent contacts from melting due to arc erosion for Silver Contact Welded to Copper/Brass Stamps.

Production Process
Raw Material Pretreatment
The silver-based material and welding substrate are cleaned and dried to remove surface impurities and oxide layers. The silver-based material is cut and softened to improve stamping performance, while the welding substrate is ground and calibrated to ensure flatness, preparing for subsequent processes for Custom Silver Contact Stamping Assemblies.
Precision Stamping
The pretreated silver-based material is integrally formed using a high-precision stamping die. The contact size and accuracy are precisely controlled to ensure a smooth, defect-free surface. Dimensions are calibrated after stamping, with errors controlled within ±0.01mm for Silver Contact Welded to Copper/Brass Stamps.
Precision Welding
The silver contacts are precisely aligned with the base. Inert gas shielded welding is used, with strict parameter control to achieve a strong bond. Real-time monitoring prevents welding defects. After cooling, welding strength and conductivity stability are ensured for Electrical Contact Brazed Stamping Components.

Packaging Method
Copper/Brass Stamping with Silver Contact Brazing employs multi-layered protective packaging to ensure its safety and integrity during transportation. First, the Electrical Contact Brazed Stamping Components are inner-packaged in a thickened plastic bag, effectively preventing moisture and dust damage and avoiding surface scratches. Then, it is placed in an outer cardboard box for initial protection. Before transportation, the cardboard box is reinforced with strapping and placed on a pallet for further wrapping and pallet reinforcement, thereby enhancing overall stability and ensuring safe and reliable long-distance transportation and bulk logistics.
