Products Description

In relays, contactors, switches, and various low-voltage electrical systems, the conductivity, contact stability, and cost structure of contacts directly affect the reliability and market competitiveness of the entire system. Bimetal Contacts with Silver Plated represent a mature solution that achieves a high balance between performance and cost. These contacts primarily use copper-based or bimetallic substrates, with a uniform and dense silver layer deposited on the surface through a precision electroplating process. After silver plating, their appearance and gloss are extremely similar to solid silver contacts, making them virtually indistinguishable to non-professionals. In practical applications, they can effectively replace solid silver contacts and are widely used in cost-sensitive applications where conductivity requirements remain stringent.
Product Advantages
High Conductivity and Low Contact Resistance
Silver is one of the best conductive metals in engineering applications. After silver plating, the contacts maintain low contact resistance during initial contact and long-term operation, reducing energy loss and localized heat generation for Silver Plated Contacts.
01
High Aesthetic Consistency and Substitutability
The silver-plated surface is brighter and smoother, closely resembling solid silver contacts in both appearance and feel, making it suitable for electrical components requiring consistent aesthetics for Contacts Silver Plated.
02
Significant Cost Control
Compared to solid silver contacts, Ag Plated Contacts significantly reduce the amount of precious metals used while maintaining key performance characteristics, providing a more competitive cost solution for large-scale projects.
03
Stable Structure and Strong Adaptability
Copper-based or composite substrates possess good mechanical strength, suitable for various assembly methods such as riveting, spot welding, and brazing, and adaptable to different electrical structural designs.
04

Production Process
Substrate Pretreatment
Copper alloy rods are ultrasonically cleaned to remove oil and dirt, then sandblasted (80-120 mesh) to increase surface roughness and improve the adhesion of subsequent plating layers for Silver Plating Electrical Contacts.
Vacuum Composite Forming
The copper rod and silver sleeve are placed in a vacuum hot press furnace and held at 850℃ and 50MPa pressure for 2 hours to achieve atomic diffusion bonding of copper and silver, forming a defect-free composite blank for Ag Plated Contacts.
Precision Machining
A six-axis CNC machining center is used to carve the contact outline with an accuracy of 0.001mm, simultaneously completing thread forming and contact surface polishing, ensuring dimensional tolerances ≤ ±0.02mm for Contacts Silver Plated.
Intelligent Electroplating
An environmentally friendly cyanide-free silver plating process is used to deposit a 3-5μm silver layer on the contact surface. Combined with a pulse power supply, the plating layer is densified, achieving a salt spray test pass rate >99.8%.

Application Advantages
Industrial Control
Adapted to industrial control components such as contactors, relays, and circuit breakers, ensuring stable signal and power transmission in automated production lines and smart factories, improving the reliability and response speed of industrial control equipment for Silver Plated Contacts.
Automotive Electronics
Used in automotive relays, switches, sensors, and other components, it can withstand complex conditions such as vibration, high temperature, and humidity during vehicle operation, ensuring the stable operation of automotive electronic systems and improving vehicle safety for Contacts Silver Plated.
Power Equipment
Adapted to power equipment such as transformers, switchgear, and meters, reducing energy loss and improving power transmission efficiency in high-voltage, high-current scenarios, ensuring the safe and stable operation of power equipment for Ag Plated Contacts.
