Material Properties

 

 

Contact Material

Typically silver or silver-based alloys (such as AgCdO, AgSnO2, etc.) are used for the brazing of Electrical Contact. These materials possess high conductivity, excellent resistance to arc erosion, and resistance to welding.

Substrate Material

Primarily high-conductivity copper or copper alloys (such as copper, brass, bronze), providing structural support and the main current path for the Electrical Connection Brazing.

Silver-based Brazing Metal

As a filler metal, its composition (such as silver-copper eutectic alloys) is carefully designed to ensure melting at temperatures below the melting point of the base material, exhibiting good fluidity, wettability, and the strength and conductivity of the brazed joint for Electrical Contact Resistance Welding.

Working principle of the product

Contact point current conduction

During the welding process, the current is conducted from the power source to the workpiece to be welded through the Low Resistance Contact Brazing.

Electrode crimping

The electrode applies a certain pressure to the welding part to ensure that the current passes through the contact point and maintains a stable contact quality to prevent excessive resistance or insufficient melting.

Welding process control

Welding equipment needs to accurately control factors such as current, voltage, pressure and time to ensure welding quality while avoiding overheating or weak welding for Electrical Connection Brazing.

Cooling and solidification
