Do Copper CNC machining require heat treatment?

Typically, they do not. The mechanical properties of red copper are determined by its material temper (soft, half-hard, or hard), and the CNC machining process does not alter its internal microstructure. However, if residual stresses within the workpiece lead to deformation, a stress-relieving annealing process can be performed.

How should one select the appropriate copper alloy material for the Copper Ball Mill?

If the priority is electrical conductivity and heat dissipation, pure red copper is the ideal choice; if wear resistance and elasticity are required, beryllium copper is recommended; and if ease of machining and corrosion resistance are the primary goals, brass is the best option.
