Products Description

Metallized ceramics are specifically designed for high-voltage direct current (HVDC) contactors in the new energy sector. As a critical insulation and conductive interface for the contactor, it utilizes a high-purity alumina ceramic substrate, combined with advanced ceramic metallization technology, to achieve high insulation withstand voltage, hermetic sealing, and long-term reliable electrical connections. The product is widely used in photovoltaic power generation, energy storage systems, HVDC transmission, and industrial DC equipment, serving as a core component ensuring the safe, stable, and efficient operation of HVDC systems.
Forming Process
High-Purity Ceramic Substrate
Dry pressing or tape casting is used to ensure ceramic metallization dimensional consistency and density.
01
Pre-sintering
Low-temperature pre-sintering (approximately 1300℃) is performed to improve the strength of the green body and facilitate subsequent processing for Ceramic to Metal.
02
Surface Metallization Treatment
Molybdenum-manganese paste is printed on the ceramic surface and sintered at high temperature (approximately 1450℃) to form a metallization layer.
.
03
Nickel Plating Treatment
Nickel is electroplated onto the Metallized Alumina Ceramics for Electrical Components surface (nickel layer thickness approximately 3–5 μm) to improve subsequent brazing performance.

Product Nature and Features
High Insulation
The metallized ceramic components insulating material effectively isolates the high-voltage DC circuit, preventing arcing and short circuits, ensuring long-term stable system operation.
High-Temperature Adaptability
The Metallized Alumina Ceramics for Electrical Components material can withstand high-temperature environments, ensuring continuous operation in new energy power plants and industrial DC systems.
Excellent Mechanical Strength
The Ceramic to Metal and metallized layers are firmly bonded, while the matching copper contacts and armature materials enhance the overall structural strength.

Quality Control and Certification
Raw Material Control
Alumina powder is subjected to compositional testing to ensure Al₂O₃ content ≥95% and impurity content meets standards for ceramic metallization; molybdenum-manganese slurry, solder, and other auxiliary materials have all undergone compliance verification.
Process Inspection
Temperature and thickness parameters are monitored in real time during pre-sintering, metallization, and nickel plating; after molding, dimensional accuracy and surface roughness are sampled and tested to ensure tolerances are controlled within ±0.05mm.
Finished Product Inspection
Each Ceramic to Metal undergoes airtightness testing using a helium mass spectrometer leak detector, and shear strength testing is performed after brazing. The defect rate is controlled below 0.01%, and a test report is provided for each batch.
Certifications
We have passed ISO9001 quality management system certification and ISO14001 environmental management system certification. Our Metallized Alumina Ceramics for Electrical Components meet high-voltage electrical component safety standards and are compatible with the compliance requirements of global new energy projects.
