High Conductivity Copper Contacts

High Conductivity Copper Contacts are integrally molded pure copper contact components, also known in the industry as "copper nails". They are made of high-purity cathode electrolytic copper wire with Cu≥99.99% as the base material and are formed in one step through a multi-station cold forging process. They can be used without electroplating in their natural color, or with nickel plating for anti-oxidation protection, or with silver plating to further improve contact conductivity.

Integrity of Metal Flow Lines

During cold forging, metal grains are elongated and densified along the deformation direction, forming continuous fibrous flow lines. These flow lines completely envelop the product's contours, much like the grain of wood, avoiding the strength weaknesses caused by cutting the flow lines during machining. This significantly improves the Copper Electrical Contacts' shear resistance and fatigue resistance.

 

Material Densification and Enhanced Performance

Under high pressure, the tiny pores inside the Red Copper Contacts material are compressed, bringing the density close to the theoretical value, achieving a one-time forming rate exceeding 98%.
