Brazing refers to the use of metal materials with lower melting points than the parent material as brazing filler metal, heating the weldment and the brazing filler metal to a temperature higher than the melting point of the brazing filler metal and lower than the melting point of the parent material, using the liquid brazing filler metal to wet the parent material, fill the joint gap and diffuse with the parent material to achieve the connection of the weldment. During brazing, the contact surfaces of the brazed workpieces are cleaned and assembled in an overlapping form, and the brazing filler metal is placed near the joint gap or directly into the joint gap. There are two types of commonly used brazing materials: one is hard brazing material with a melting point above 450°C.
