The difference between armature and core

1. Concepts of armature and core

The Relay Terminal Armature is the stator in the motor, which is composed of a coil wound by many wires with the same current direction. It is fixed on the motor housing and plays the role of generating a magnetic field; while the EV Relay Iron Core is the rotor in the motor, usually composed of multiple sheet-shaped silicon steel sheets alternately stacked to form a cylindrical core, which generates an alternating electromagnetic field in the stator when rotating.

2. Functions of armature and core

As the stator of the motor, the Electrician Pure Iron Armature generates a force on the Relay Iron Core when the current passes through the coil, causing it to rotate; the core is the rotor of the motor, which generates a changing magnetic flux relative to the stator when rotating, generating an induced electromotive force, thereby converting mechanical energy into electrical energy.

3. Differences between armature and core

From the above description, it can be seen that the Relay Armature and Relay Iron Core have different functions. The armature is the stator in the motor, which mainly plays the role of generating a magnetic field, while the core is the rotor in the motor, which generates electrical energy when rotating. In addition, the shape and structure of the armature and the iron core are also different. The armature is usually wound into a coil, while the iron core is usually made of multiple sheets of silicon steel sheets alternately stacked to form a cylindrical or hexagonal iron core.

4. summary

In summary, the armature and the iron core are common components in the motor, playing different roles in the motor, and there are obvious differences between the two.
